We have several utility programs that we are providing free to the general public. Feel free to download and use any of these programs. All we ask is that you not use these for commercial purposes.
WMatch
WMatch is based on a utility that was published in "PC Magazine" many years ago. The utility compares the contents of two folders and highlights files that are different between the two. For example, a programmer may want to know what files he/she has modified between two versions a program they are working on. This utility provides an easy method to determine that.

CDRipper
CDRipper is designed specifically for ripping audio books on CD. The user enters the name of the book, the author, a title for the ripped files, and optionally a picture. The program will rip and then eject each CD in turn. The user only has to feed additional CDs into the drive. The ripped mp3 files will be placed in a separate folder for each CD with a unique title for each file.

SoundChopper
SoundChopper is designed for modifying downloaded podcasts and audio books. The downloaded MP3 files are often quite large. On some MP3 players, fastforwarding through a half-hour podcast can be quite tedious. SoundChopper allows you to break the MP3 files into six minute segments, making them more amenable for listening to on many players. In addition, values for artist, album, title, and a picture can be added to each segment.
SoundChopper can also be useful for modifying MP3 files ripped from audio book CDs. SoundChopper can combine tracks as well as chopping them. Some publishers will create CDs with as many as ninety-nine tracks on each CD. Obviously, this can be quite annoying when listening to the book. SoundChopper can combine the tracks to create one mp3 file for each CD. Soundchopper can then be used to chop the large mp3 files into six minute files.

PictureFrame
PictureFrame is a program that you can use to manage pictures for a digital picture frame. Various brands of cameras and phones have different naming conventions, so when pictures are copied from these sources to a digital picture frame, the frame displays them in an order that you may not want. PictureFrame takes care of this problem by ordering the pictures by date and time and then copying them to an SD card or USB stick with a naming convention that allow the picture frame to display the pictures in the correct order. PictureFrame has other features as well, so give it a try!
